The Coastal Carolina Agricultural Fair is coming to the Craven County Jaycees Fairgrounds in New Bern Thursday, October 16 through Sunday, October 26th. |

| Our New Name

The Craven County Jaycees Board of Directors and the General Membership changed the name of the Fair to the Coastal Carolina Agricultural Fair. The Craven County Jaycees partner with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Offices in Craven, Carteret, Pamlico and Jones Counties to organize the Fair each year. |

Fairgrounds Renovations!

The Craven County Jaycees and Bruin Builders have been working around the clock to have everything done before the Fair begins. We have a new look, improvements to the grounds, parking lot and drive and new, fresh bathroom facilities inside the Agricultural Exhibit building. We know how important it is to have a clean and safe environment for all who come out and enjoy the Fair each Fall. |

The theme of the Coastal Carolina Agricultural Fair will be “Meet me at the Fair”.
“Meet me at the Fair is one of the best themes we have ever had. The possibilities are unlimited and left only to the imagination.” said Elizabeth Dixon, president of the Craven County Jaycees Board of Directors. “It is a theme we can all relate to. Many of our families, friends and neighbors meet at the Fair every year. Children text their friends to meet at the Carnival Midway. Some who have met here, have fallen in love and remain together for the rest of their lives, meeting at the Fair again each year to relive those romantic days. “
The Fair has always been the hub of the community each fall, bringing together friends and family who come to see the educational and agriculture exhibits, the entertainment, and the rides on the midway.
For 11 days of family fun with something for everyone, meet us at the Coastal Carolina Agricultural Fair; open Thursday, October 16 through Sunday, October 26. |

The Midway is the heart of any fair. It's an exciting place where all the action takes place. A stroll through the Midway takes you past the various exhibits and educational displays, food booths with delicious smells, souvenir and game stalls, family entertainment sites, and of course, the various thrilling amusement rides suitable for fairgoers of all ages, from kiddies to old-timers.
The company staging the Coastal Carolina Agricultural Fair
is Playworld Unlimited, Inc. from Alma, Michigan. Playworld
is a nationally established producer of fair entertainment,
both large and small, throughout the USA. Their rides meet the rigorous safety standards of the North Carolina Department of Labor and are inspected each day to ensure safe operation. Playworld keeps the midway clean both day and night to present a pleasing atmosphere in which to
enjoy the fair. The games that Playworld brings to the fair
are inspected by the Fair Committee to make certain that
they meet high standards of fun, fairness, and skill. |

Something completely new for kids. Peanut Pedal Powered Tractor Pulls! Kids, ages 3-12 years old, pedal specially
geared tractors, pneumatic tires (air-filled) on drive wheels. The tractors are hitched to a special weight transfer sled.
The sled has a weight box, weights are added for age classes 3-12 years old.
Tractor Pedal Pull – Dune Buggy the Clown will have balloons, magic and fun all week at his "Peanut Circus"
located near the Red Livestock Barn. Kids can compete in
old-fashioned tractor pedal pulls!
